If you want to manually change any student's score—it's best to wait until every student has submitted their answers and/or the assignment due date/time has passed. Essentially, you can't change a single question score until the student has submitted the entire assignment.
When you click on any question, a popup window appears. In order to manually enter the answers you'll want to click the Edit Response option to “On”. This is located a the bottom of the screen. Now you're ready to enter the student's response and/or score.
In Progress (“IP”) Grades Instructors may assign the grade of “IP” (In Progress) to students whose work at the end of a term is still in progress because the course, by design or by arrangement prior to registration, requires more than one term to complete all assignments.
Don't immediately launch into the reasons why you failed; this might make your teacher suspect that you're making up an excuse. Acknowledge that you made a mistake in doing poorly on the test. Tell your teacher that you accept responsibility for the test and that you're trying to be responsible by asking for a retake.
Once a student has completed a test in Savvas SuccessNet, there is no way to delete the test for only that one user should the teacher wish to grant them a retest. Savvas Successnet allows for the teacher to rescore that original test or delete a test from the group it was assigned.
